Who We Are
Ethos Club & Leisure is a real estate advisory and investment firm dedicated to club and leisure assets. We work for our own account as well as provide advisory services to a select group of third party clients. We seek out opportunities where our institutional knowledge, commitment to excellence and creativity will yield significant returns.
Our Background
Ethos is a venture between the principals of Addison Law, the premier law firm focused on club and leisure assets, and Bob Jones, the former long-standing Chief Operating Officer of The Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most successful private clubs in the country. Our interdisciplinary team approach allows us to both think big in the planning and concept stages and to think small in execution, understanding that success lies in a commitment to excellence throughout the process. There are no short-cuts.
Our Focus
Our advisory work is focused on club and golf (and related real estate) assets. We generally are not seeking out traditional golf courses and clubs to own and operate for our own account.
Our investment, development and ownership side of the business is focused on other types of leisure assets, which may include redevelopment of club assets into other uses, creation and operation of sporting clubs and creation and operation of other unique recreational and leisure venues.

Our name carries deep meaning and significance with our team. Our “ethos” is grounded in an unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity in all that we do.
On the advisory side, we don’t believe in writing reports simply to be filed away. We’re focused on projects where we can meaningfully engage and move the needle, which means developing and then leading the execution of the right plan for long-term success.
Finally, we believe that long-term successful projects must deliver a differentiated, engaging experience while generating long-term positive returns and operating in a responsible fashion.
